Masthead

Angad Bharaj
Editor-in-Chief
Angad is currently an undergraduate Literature student at Delhi University and an aspiring author with a love for the written word. He is a true believer in the magic of storytelling, and finds solace in the quiet company of black coffee, music, and Google Docs. He is often spotted on campus with his earphones and a coffee in hand, Angad is someone who blends the classic charm of literature with the everyday poetry of life.
Anikyet Bhushal
Poetry Editor
Anikyet is from the beautiful town of Orchids, Kalimpong, near Darjeeling. He is an undergraduate student of Anthropology with an interest in poetry, prose, art and environmental awareness. He spends much of his free time pondering over questions that don't have answers.
Ishita Tiwari
Poetry Reader
Born in the heart of monsoon, Ishita finds herself drawn to both the quiet and the chaos that life offers. Rooted in the heart of India, she identifies as an ambivert—someone who feels deeply, observes quietly, and expresses through words.
With a soft spot for dogs and an ever-present love for music, she finds comfort in the little things that make life feel whole. Literature and poetry remain her forté, where words become her paint and the world her canvas. Through every line she writes, Ishita doesn’t just aim to tell stories, she seeks to feel them, live them, and let them breathe.
She hopes her journey is one of compassion and purpose, where her words don’t just exist, but gently shape a kinder, more thoughtful world.
Naveda Noor Kharnongrum
Non-fiction Reader
From the lush green hills and pink strewn streets of Shillong, Meghalaya, Naveda is an undergraduate student studying Physics at Hansraj College. An aspiring polymath, she thrives on the fence between science and literature where metaphors walk hand in hand with equations. From poetry to playing the drums, she has dabbled in almost everything, wearing the "jack of all trades" badge with pride.
Shelja Jain
Poetry Reader
Shelja, an anthropology undergrad, is from the Himalayan hill town of Kalimpong. She is often found sitting in a corner with a book and a pen, watching people go about their lives. If she has her headphones on, she’s probably listening to the Beatles or Hozier. Otherwise, she’s at Taco Bell.
Adrika Gautam
Prose Reader
Adrika Gautam, an undergraduate student at Hansraj College pursuing Literature, is an avid reader who loves to write for fun. Her constant need for escapism can be seen through her interest in films, music, traveling and daydreaming. And that doesn't set her apart from her peers, rather she takes pride in being ordinary—the girl on the sidewalk wearing a sundress, petting a cat and having ice cream.
Sneha Mishra
Prose Reader
Sneha is currently a student at Delhi University, hailing from Madhya Pradesh, with a deep love for poetry and creative expression. An extroverted personality with big dreams, she finds joy in connecting with people and embracing new experiences. Her interests span across singing, dancing, and reading, making her someone who thrives in both artistic and social spaces. A firm believer in happiness and kindness, Sneha carries a warm and positive outlook toward life, aiming to spread good energy wherever she goes while chasing her aspirations with enthusiasm.
Kunal Chaturvedi
Non-fiction Reader
Kunal Chaturvedi is a writer shaped by two deep loves, poetry and music. Currently pursuing English Honours from Hansraj College, Delhi University, he writes across formats with a clarity and intention that is rare for someone his age. As a screenwriter, lyricist, poet, and content writer, he has built stories for digital narratives, written original songs, and crafted poetry in both English and Hindi. He brings the same care to every word and every line he writes, because for him, every drop of ink is just a different way of saying something true.

The Medley is the bi-annual journal of Ostraca - The Creative Writing Society of Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
